ASX-UV10 Drone Corona Camera

See corona.
Inspect with context.

The AerosenX ASX-UV10 is a drone corona camera for aerial inspection of high-voltage electrical equipment. It combines solar-blind UV imaging, visible imaging and target distance measurement in a stabilized UAV payload.

AerosenX ASX-UV10 UAV UV corona imaging payload with its complete gimbal

One stabilized system.
Complementary sensing.

The AerosenX ASX-UV10 brings a solar-blind UV sensor, an 8 MP visible camera and a ToF laser rangefinder together on a three-axis stabilized gimbal. Designed for UAV-based electrical inspection, it visualizes corona discharge emissions that reach the sensor, places detected activity in visual context and measures target distance. With 10× visible-camera optical zoom and photon counting, the payload supports closer examination of electrical equipment while keeping UV activity, visible detail and ranging information within one inspection workflow.

Electrical inspection contexts

Applications

High-voltage transmission-line insulators and conductor fittings

Transmission-Line Insulators & Fittings

Inspect suspension insulator strings, corona rings and conductor fittings along overhead power lines. Use UV/visible image overlay to relate detectable corona emissions to specific external components.

Outdoor high-voltage substation switchyard with insulators and exposed electrical connections

Substation Bushings & Exposed Connections

Survey transformer bushings, busbar connections and disconnector insulation from suitable aerial viewpoints. Solar-blind UV imaging helps visualize exposed corona emissions and place them within the visible equipment scene.

Electrified railway overhead catenary, support structures and feeder infrastructure

Railway Catenary Insulators & Feeder Connections

Inspect accessible catenary insulators, sectioning equipment and feeder connections at electrified railway sites. Examine optically accessible UV activity during targeted aerial inspection, with deployment planned for the actual site and aircraft.

See where UV activity occurs.

UV/visible image overlay relates detected discharge emissions to the visible target, helping the operator interpret activity within the inspection scene.

Final software support, display modes and interface behavior are pending verification.

Payload integration

SUPPORTED AIRCRAFT

Compatible DJI platforms

Integrate the ASX-UV10 with the following DJI aircraft platforms for UAV-based UV inspection.

  • M300
  • M400
  • M350 RTK
  • M400 RTK

The payload mounts at the aircraft's gimbal connection and communicates through the DJI Payload SDK (PSDK). View live UV imagery and access payload controls in DJI Pilot 2, without a separate payload app.
